Infinito is italian and means infinitely. Bianchi's Infinito CV frameset is very smooth running and ideal for infinite rides.
This frameset of Bianchi's C2C (Cost to Coast) product range is designed for those loving the speed and long days in the saddle. In comparison to race bikes the geometry is much more comfortable. The higher headset allows a much more relaxed position for the shoulders and arms. The larger distance between the bottom bracket and the fork ends offers stability and control at medium pace, the front wheel is progressive and easy to steer.
The new Infinito CV frame is processed from different carbon fibers placed specific with the monocoque method. With Bianchi's special carbon nano-technology its possible to place nanoparticles in the matrix in order to improve the cohesion between the fibers. Air pockets and micro-cracking are avoided specifically, maximizing the life expectancy and the fracture resistance of the frame.
With large tube diameters excellent stiffness are achieved on the frame. The BAT (Bianchi Active Technology) is a special design which allows vertical movement which, together with the K-VID technique (Kevlar Vibration Isolating Device), ensures an excellent damping. In addition, this year a special viscoelastic carbon intermediate layer is used exclusively for Bianchi. This patented Countervail System has already proven at NASA and in addition to increasing the damping effect the rigidity and durability of the entire frame increased. This provides less fatigue to the driver and keeps him ready for the final sprint.
The new full carbon fork fits neatly into the tapered frame. The widespread PF30 bottom bracket standard and the voluminous chainstays provide a huge drive stiffness so actually every used watt is convert in propulsion.
Thanks to internal cable routing all cables will be fully implemented in the frame with positive effects on the appearance and low maintenance. The derailleur hanger is replaceable and the dropouts are made of aluminum to ensure maximum durability.
