INpower-Pack Road rotor with oval chainrings

The ROTOR INpower Road power measurement crank measures your power on one side of the left leg by means of opposing strain gauges in the axis of the bottom bracket. Additionally, the crank is capable of providing accurate measurements of cadence, pedaling efficiency, and force and torque efficiency. The high-quality measurement technology is completely placed inside the axis and not only optically perfectly integrated, but also superbly protected. Expensive maintenance and battery changes in the workshop are not necessary. The standard AA battery provides enough juice for approximately 300 hours of training and the sealed battery compartment allows every rider to quickly change the battery in minutes.

ROTOR POWER analysis software:

All ROTOR power meters allow you to use the free ROTOR POWER analysis software for PC (available as a download from the Rotor homepage for Windows / Mac) and as a smartphone or tablet application (available in the 'App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android) an infallible analysis of pedaling efficiency. In addition, the software allows adjustment and visualization of the oval ROTOR Q rings and it can graphically represent the force distribution of a 360 degree rotation. This maximizes efficiency in the shortest possible time and with little effort.

Pedal smoothness:

This feature shows you how smooth your pedaling motion is. This is the ratio of the average force to the maximum force during one crank rotation, measured as a percentage.

OCA ""Optimal chainring angle"":
This feature allows you to determine for yourself at which crank angle you have the greatest application of force. Especially when using oval chainrings, you can quickly determine the optimal chainring position.

OCP ""Optimal tray position"":
Optimal chainring position for oval chainrings is important. OCP stands for the various adjustment options that ROTOR Q-Rings offer to suit the rider's specific pedaling characteristics. You can determine your OCP if you know your optimal chainring angle (OCA), which you can determine using a TORQUE 360 step analysis with ROTOR POWER analysis software. OCP is only available in combination with Q ROTOR rings.

TORQUE 360:
INpower technology displays the effective torque acting on the pedals and shows the distribution of forces during pedal rotation at different angles.
You can analyze the total rotation of the pedal and determine how force is applied to both the low (positive) and high phase of the pedal rotation (usually a negative value).
The TORQUE 360 display is useful for knowing your own tread pattern and for improving pedaling technique.

Functional Threshold Power (FTP):
The functional threshold power (FTP) is an important analysis value. It shows what you can do for an hour without getting tired. The values are set by means of a 20-minute FTP test and the training zones are then derived from this. This allows for much more effective drive control. Knowing your FTP value in competitions and long climbs also helps you not to overload and use your strength more efficiently. In total
