Arabesque
This much loved frameset with sumptuous chrome debuted 30 years ago and even a pro wanted to ride it. Then, last year, they found a box of lugs in the Colnago Headquater from this gone by era. So they decide to bring it back!
The original Arabesque got round steel tubes. Now the Arabesque becomes the same tube set as found on the current Master, which were custom-drawn DT15V steel tubes and it also has the Prescia straight-blade chrome-plated fork. Other changes were the now threadless steerer tube. The rest keeps the same. You'll find: an Italian-threaded 70 mm bottom bracket, a 27.2 mm seat tube, a front braze on derailleur hanger, downtube shifter bosses, and horizontal dropouts. The dropouts are chrome-plated and feature micro-adjusters.
Talking about geometry, you're getting a frameset that is designed to take maximum advantage of steel's best riding qualities. The top tube is parallel to the ground and is part of what many used to term a "square" frameset, where the seat tube and top tube are nearly the same length. The seat tube angle is sufficiently aggressive and most people will need a seatpost with setback.
