Expert riders know that power alone is not enough! For true performance, all components must be in
perfect harmony. This is the concept behind W424, a frame made entirely of high elastic recovery (HER)
carbon fibre. With HER carbon fibre, the fibres return precisely to their original position after any distortions,
which is one of the reasons that the W424 frame is the utmost expression of composite fibre technology
for mountain bike frames. This is the absolute top of the line in monocoque carbon-fibre frames in terms
of performance, particularly for its stiffness-to-weight and strength-to-weight ratios.
Weighing in at just over one kilogram, the W424 is one of the lightest mountain bike frames available.
The ribbing at the back of the frame provides significant stiffness in order to optimize the transfer of
pedalling power.
The fibres are symmetrically woven so that forces are released evenly without causing any deformation.
The frame's compact geometry, its steering angle and structural design provide the feeling of precision
control and instinctive fluidity you need to face and overcome all challenges.
The small dropouts are CNC-machined, as is the disk-brake adaptor, which can be removed or moved in
order to facilitate brake adjustment.
The disk-brake adaptor is available on the “post-mount” version.
