BICYLE ROAD: Look KG 585 Origin / Ultra / Optimum / Elle

The 585 is the perfect compromise between lightness, stiffness, and comfort. At 990 grams (size small), its weight is certainly one the lightest on today's market, but it also benefits from the most recent advances in the field of carbon technology.
Made from Very High Modulus tubes (VHM), which optimize the weight and stiffness of the frame, the 585 also includes Look exclusive technology in the manufacturing of carbon lugs: forged at very high pressure for the bottom bracket (the part of the frame the most subject to stress), woven for the seat post and head tube.
With its 100% carbon Monobloc HSC5 SL fork it also benefits from exclusive Look technology with its molded and compressed dropouts; the frame + fork assembly only weighs 1300 grams.

* Progressive Sloping Geometry Evolusize Geometry: A steeper slope is used for smaller frame sizes and is decreased proportionally with the frame size.
* Carbon Lug Technology: LOOK has developed a new concept, forged carbon where the lug is moulded using Very High Pressure Carbon (VHPC). This is lightweight and improves lateral rigidity by some 25% compared with aluminium lugs, giving a weight saving of 5
* Double Curve: The wishbone is curved twice giving great lateral strength whilst maintaining some vertical flexibility for comfort.
* LOOK Patented Integral Headset: Includes two interchangeable bearing surfaces inside the head tube.
* LOOK HSC5 SL Forks: 100% single piece monobloc carbon with directly moulded carbon dropouts. 295g
