Working from the center out, Sestante wheels begin with sealed-bearing, precision-alloy hub bodies and cassette splines, created by both CNC machining and forging. Straight-pull spokes greatly reduce nasty spoke snappage by compensating strength in both directions of tension. Artlike 6000 series 700c high-profile rims grace these graceful wheels, that are anodized a bad matte black, with CNC-machined sidewalls. Italian and Japanese cassettes both love Stella Azzurra hubs. Of course, you get a pair of Stella Azzurra stainless skewers, to boot. Stainless aero spokes complete the picture. Let's do the numbers: front wheel, just 690g. Rear, only 970.
