These new units are dedicated cyclo-computers and not designed to be wrist worn.

They are NOT compatible with older Polar speed sensors or cadence sensors.

The Polar CS200 and CS200cad range of cyclists heart rate monitors can be "Polar Weblinked" to the Polar Cycling Coach website. Using your PC microphone and soundcard it is possible to :

Key Features of Polar CS200 and CS200cad

* Polar OwnCal - calorie expenditure
* Polar OwnZone - automatic calculation of training zone intensity with audible and visual alarms - The Polar CS200 allows you to let the heart rate monitor set your training zone for you. This is generally about 65-85% of Max HR. The training zone is determined by the watch following a 5 minute walking / jogging test. You may choose to accept this zone or use your own manually prescribed one or your own personally set heart rate training zone
* Polar Cadence providing accurate pedal revs per minute. This is an optional extra on the CS200 but comes complete with the CS200cad.
* Cycling Intensity - a calculation that gives a kcal/h rate.
* Polar Own Code - see details left
* Auto Start option (stops recording when static, restarts when moving)
* Bike 1/2. Allows you to store details for 2 different bikes
* Polar Speed Pointer - see details left
* 50 Lap stopwatch - with number of laps, best lap, individual split/lap time, average speed, speed when lap button pressed, average cadence (optional) and cadence at time lap pressed, lap distance.
* 2 x Countdown timers. These can be used together or just one. They will auto repeat. For example, 1 x 5 mins 1 x 3 mins, then repeat, or just bleep every 5 mins. This is useful for interval training.

Polar CS200(b) Key Features While riding (buttons may require pressing to obtain this data, the unit normally shows 3 x parameters at one time. You can toggle through these displays quickly and easily with the RIGHT handside button:
