SPORTS NUTRITION: Maxim Energy Drink (PET 0,5 l)

Maxim Sports Drink is available in 2 refreshing flavours. For more information regarding ingredients and nutritional value, select the flavour of your choice.

Ingredients: water, sucrose, maltodextrin, dextrose, acidulants (citric acid, malic acid, potassium citrate, sodium citrate), natural flavouring, preservatives (potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate), sweetener (aspartame), colouring (quinoline yellow). With sugars and sweetener, contains a source of phenylalanine.

During exercise

The quantity of Sports Drink to consume during exercise depends on the individual athlete, the weather conditions, the intensity and duration of exercise. Nevertheless, we herewith provide you with an indication of what quantities of sports drink should be consumed during exercise.

Low intensity: drink 750ml per hour
Medium intensity: drink 750ml per hour
High intensity: drink 750ml - 1 litre per hour
Note: Drink during extreme hot weather conditions approximately 1 litre - 1,25 litres per hour during exercise.

Advice:
When you are not used to drinking during exercise, try this during training. Slowly increase the quantity you drink to approximately 200ml a time (in extreme hot weather conditions 300ml per time). Drink this quantity every 15-20 minutes. It will improve your performance.

Directly after exercise

Drink, directly after exercise, approximately 500ml of Sports Drink for an optimal recuperation of the fluid balance and to replenish the used energy.

General use

Ideal for the road, whenever you need extra energy.
