The flow, based on our 3D+ crank, is a paradigm-changing aero crankset; designed for both Road Aero and pure TT bikes. It offers the time savings of classic aero cranks and the performance of leading road cranks, all at once.
Our focus on stiffness and functionality, allow the Flow to match and even beat full aero cranks in the real world.
Avoids the pitfalls of many aero cranksets
Giving a 6 second time reduction on a 40KM TT or 15 seconds over an IM bike split, at 200W average power, the Flow’s construction avoids the pitfalls of many aero cranksets: Compromised performance in the form of added weight and flexibility, as well as a look that doesn’t fit with aero road bikes.

Less resistance to wind
This is possible because a crank does not meet fully laminar airflow while riding: A bike’s front wheel and fork have already sliced through the air that hits the crankset. This turbulent air offers less resistance than calm air, allowing our performance focused Flow design to excel.
This makes the Flow not only a fully-fledged TT, Triathlon and Duathlon worthy crank, but a credible and coherent upgrade to further the performance of aero road bikes, as proven by professional teams such as Garmin Sharp Barracuda that use of the Flow on their aero road and TT bikes.

Micro Adjust Spider
More positions to suit every rider´s needs
The new Micro Adjust Spider (MAS), offers more positions to suit every rider’s needs. Our new advanced MAS spider has an alternative bolt hole placement allowing for intermediate positions between existing OCP (Optimum Chainring Position) of the Q-Ring. A standard crank in combination with the OCP of the Q-Rings, allows approximately 5 degrees of adjustment.
The MAS spider when used with Q-Rings offers half positions giving approximately 2,5 degrees. This means that you can micro adjust the position of your Q rings, to suit your riding style.
ROTOR's bombproof trinity drilled crank arms resist bending and twisting forces better than classic hollow tube crank designs can. ROTOR’s crank arms are stiffer than the competitions forged products due to our Trinity Drilling System. This process drills three full-depth holes from axle to pedal, leaving behind a boxtrellised structure (similar to box bridges). This gives our crank arms superior rigidity and an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio.

It works with everything!
The UBB (Universal Bottom Brackets) system is not a standard; It’s all standards. It allows installation of almost any 30 or 24mm axle crank from ROTOR on the bike you have, regardless of its BB type. ROTOR’s “UBB” super-standard encompasses all BB standards.
