MAKROLON® is one of the best molding compound available nowadays on the market and is known for its high light transmission (totally clear and transparent like glass), high heating resistance, great toughness, and very good dimensional stability. The benefits of the ORION superficial treatment technology (O.S.T.) allow these very special lenses to be totally hydrophobic and oilphobic. Therefore rain, mud, fat, sweat, and various types of oils do not stick at all on these very special lenses but go away very easily.
