Lightweight Ventoux are extremely light. At only 950 g they are our lightest wheelset. Designer Heinz Obermayer achieved this sensational weight by using an extremely light rim, thereby reducing the mass at the outer diameter of the wheel to an absolute minimum. Thus the wheel accelerates second to none! For steep upgrades this is the best wheel money can buy.

Pros demand stiff wheels first and foremost. Direct power transfer without any loss is their main interest. Weight only comes second. Therefore, we have designed all our wheels to be extremely stiff. Lightweight Ventoux offer the exceptional stiffness and power transfer professional cyclists demand. Stiffness ratings are similar to our “Standard” wheelset, though the Ventoux do not quite reach the same impressive numbers. Thus, Lightweight Ventoux is by far the stiffest wheel in its class. No other wheel accelerates faster and transfers the rider’s power to the road in a similar fashion.
