The Zipp 900WC Wheelchair Disc has the same benefits, aerodynamics, comfort and control as our well-loved 900 700c disc. Featuring an industry standard "stub" axle, oversized bearings to accommodate those extra dynamic loads, along with high density co-molded inserts to accept virtually any size of hand ring.

ABLC dimples to ensure optimum air flow, hand laid uni-directional carbon skins for designed strength and now with an added scuff resistant layer to stop damage from your gloves, this product is top of its class.

ZIPP 900 Clincher

The design team at Zipp has worked for two years to bring you the best combination of aerodynamics and riding comfort. The patented bulge rim shape maintains laminar airflow longer than all other industry shapes reducing wind resistance and decreasing the energy needed to attain and maintain the speeds you desire.

Our M2CM co-molding technology ensures the strongest bonding between carbon and aluminum, increasing riding comfort due to VCLC technology that allows for sidewall flex. Road vibration is reduced by 11% and high frequency vibrations are significantly dampened. This clincher disc is aerodynamically optimized for tires between 19 and 23mm wide.

Available in 700c only, this clincher disc comes as a track or road disc (Shimano & Campagnolo)

ZIPP 900 Tubular

The Zipp tubular disc is simply the lightest, most aerodynamically efficient wheel of its kind. The tubular disc was the original product built by Zipp way back in 1988 and it was at that time the lightest and fastest disc wheel available. Since that time it has been re-invented numerous times, each iteration getting lighter, faster and more aerodynamic. The latest round of technical innovations have taken a further 90g out of a wheel that is already one of the lightest and fastest in the business.

At just over 950g for a cassette hubbed disc, the days of being concerned about weight are long since over. This disc is generally lighter than most aluminum rimmed "climbing" wheels and the low perimeter mass means that it accelerates very rapidly and maintains speed with ease. The Zipp hub system allows any disc to be either Shimano or Campagnolo compatible, either of them can be converted with a track axle kit for competition on the velodrome. The ultimate in adaptability.
