STAR FIGHTER HYDROPHOBIC AND OILPHOBIC.

Very high range sunglass with unique technical features. Almost no other sunglasses on the cycling market have the same type of lenses. The frame is made of Grilamid TR90 material: very light, shock resistant, safe and elastic (virtually unbreakable). The nose-pad is made of TPR hypoallergenic material. Three sets of lenses packed in a very nice shock-resistant case: clear anti-fog, red revo or blue iridium (depending on the model) and orange hydrophobic and oilphobic. These last lenses in particular, manufactured in France, are made of MAKROLON® from BAYER SWISS MATERIAL SCIENCE. MAKROLON® is one of the best molding compound available nowadays on the market and is known for its high light transmission (totally clear and transparent like glass), high heating resistance, great toughness, and very good dimensional stability. The benefits of the ORION superficial treatment technology (O.S.T.) allow these very special lenses to be totally hydrophobic and oilphobic. Therefore rain, mud, fat, sweat, and various types of oils do not stick at all on these very special lenses but go away very easily. This leads the cyclist to have a sharp, clear and unobstructed vision with some important advantages such as low maintenance of the lenses, smudges and smears wipe off easily, no smearing nor streaking, no oil nor water/sweat smears, no blurred vision because the vision stays instead sharp and crystal clear at all times.
