Tubular tyres are used primarily in competitions because of their excellent rolling characteristics and very good dry running properties.

With the Giro, you can also rely on these strengths in training. To ensure that this training tyre is excellent value for money, we have the no-frills, robustly manufactured Giro made to our specifications in Asia.

Inheriting the best qualities of the highly popular Ultra GatorSkin road tyre, namely the durable carbon black tread mixture, the effective puncture protection breaker layer and the DuraSkin® anti-cut fabric. The Sprinter GatorSkin itself features the typically comfortable and light feel of a tubular tire.

The professional riders use a similar combination in their tyres for Paris - Roubaix and other equipment destroying classics in the springtime. If you want to get the miles in, but your streets aren't covered with the finest tarmac and you prefer the inconspicuous function of your tires, then this is your tubular.

Continental Collé Grand Prix 4000 Tubular

The all new Grand Prix 4000 Tubular may be missing the aura of the old champion, but the challenger is enticing professional cyclists with its new technology. A seamless casing design improves the rim seating, uniformity and rolling resistance.

The name, the dynamic tread design of teh Grand Prix 4000 and of course a Vectran puncture protection breaker state the high ambitions of this new tyre. Naturally, both competitors enter the race with innovative Black Chili tread mixture.
