Look 595 Ultra

ULTRA SERIES CUSTOM TUBES
The 595 ULTRA differs from the standard 595 Origin in that the bottom braket and head tube areas have
modified lay up patterns, resulting in a frame that is 15% laterally stiffer. Every ULTRA frame stands
apart, as all ULTRA frames use a UD fibre finish layer.
Rear Triangle Stiffness: 595 : 70 N/mm 595 ULTRA : 80 N/mm
BB Stiffnes : 595 : 170 N/mm 595 ULTRA : 185 N/mm
Headtube Stiffness : 595 : 100 N/mm 595 ULTRA : 120N/mm

‘ E - POS T ’ S eatpost with Interchangea ble E lastomers
1) Anti-rotation: as the E-post is not round, it is always aligned with frame’s centre line.
2) Vibration Dampening: uses replaceable elastomer blocks to help enhance ride comfort.
3) Carbon friendly tightening torque: 5 Newton/meters is enough
4) Three different density (black, red, or grey) elastomer blocks are included with each frame to fine
tune the vibration dampening characteristics.

CUSTOM FORMED TUBE SETS
Each section of the custom formed tubeset has a very specific shape both internally and externally. This
optimizes the lateral rigidity while maintaining vertical compliance, resulting in a more efficient yet
comfortable ride. The LOOK lugs are also designed with very detailed parameters. The lugs allow for
increased ride feel tunability that many other construction methods do not do as well.

COMPRE S S ED CARBON FRAME DROPOUT S
The rear dropouts are directly compressed at the time when both the seat and chain stays are
moulded, resulting in a single-piece rear triangle. The frame is lighter while blending optimal
stiffness.

VHPC BOTTOM BRACKET (VERY HIGH PRESSURE COMPRESSED CARBON)
The bottom bracket is the heart of the frame. In order to maximize pedaling efficency, LOOK
has developed a proprietary technique called ‘Compressed Carbon Technology’. The precise
positioning of carbon fibres inside the mould combined with very high-pressure compression during
the moulding process produces a very light and a very stiff bottom bracket shell. The weight
of the bottom bracket is only 130g with a 170N/mm stiffness rating once the frame has been
assembled. You feel the bike accelerate as you transmit power with each pedal stroke.

LOOK HSC6 FORK
The 100% carbon single-piece ‘monobloc’ fork weighs only 340g (uncut) and meets the NEW
Standard EN 14781 Requirement (144 joule frontal impact). Using the same technology as the
rear dropouts, the carbon dropouts are compressed at the same time the fork blades, crown and
steerer are moulded. The integrated carbon conical bearing seat (45° race angle) allows for the
direct fitment of the bearing, eliminating the need of an additional aluminum crown race. The
HSC 6 is designed to be used with an 1-1/8’’ upper and 1-1/4’’ lower sealed bearing.
