Ernesto Colnago created the C50 Cross for Rabobank’s Sven Nys, who has dominated Cyclocross with World Cup wins in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. C50 Cross has round triple butted for more elasticity than a C50 Road to absorb the sharp shocks that occur in Cyclocross racing. Colnago has added layers on “HM” carbon fiber that make the C50 Cross light, strong easy to use in running sections. With a special Star Cross carbon fiber fork for Cantilever brakes and a special wide clearance rear triangle so large section tires can be used on the C50 Cross. Light and fast, Colnago’s C50 Cross is made in non-sloping traditional sizes.
