| SELCOF is the only company that produce seat-posts in Europe. Selcof produce around 800.000 pcs by year. The Company was founded at the end of the forties. | |

| Until 1985 the main activity was the manufacturing of metallic part for the saddles of motorcycle, touring and recing bycicle. In the meantime other additional activities developped contributing to the growth of the company.
In 1985 the company has became SELCOF and it has been established on an area of 5300 mq, 3500 mq. Covered with buildings. SELCOF starded in 1986 a new acrtivity : the production of the aluminium seat.posts for all kind of bicycles.
Today the complete range of seat posts consist of 30 models, many of which are available in 34 different diameters.
SELCOF is specially attentive to the quality thanks to a constant ispections of the manufactured pieces and to the homologation of all the products according to the norms UNI,ISO and AFNOR.
Moreover the company can boasts an high elasticity in production, which allows the customers request to be satisfied in very short time.
The technical and managerial SELCOF staff is leaded by young and dynamic people supported by the long experience of family Bizzotto.
Professional bikers, have always helped the company with the development of the products testing them directly during the racing.
SELCOF is moreover collaborating with some of the most prestigious teams such as LAMPRE, TACCONI SPORT, PHONAK for road rece ; , SCOTT RACING TEAM, for ATB.
Just at the projecting phase of the single element it is evident the professionality of SELCOF technicians. Thanks to the most up-to date and computerized technologies, each new idea is virtually tested to fix the structural limites and to verify whether it will have the security, the lightness and the quality specifications which characterize all the production.
Determinant is the continuous searching of new materials, alloy and composites to guarantee more and more sophisticated high-level products. The quality control of the products started during the projecting is carried out in all the production phases by testing the samples in external and indipendent laboratories which certify it's phisical and structural characteristics.
All that allows the company to offer to all cyclist , champions and amatour a complete range of seat-posts with specific models for each type of cycling: the racing the ATB the Triathlon and the free time bicycles.
